Hi, wondering if the project is maintained or it has been discontinued. any info?

i see very old commits and little reply to issues.

Oh, a lot ! 😁

I will be opening some issues on the new fork, creating a starting roadmap, and create some discussion channels (possibly Discord), so that is the place to check.

There are already some thoughts and questions that it would be good to come up with answers to posted in the Issues at the fork. Feel free to jump in with thoughts so that we can get things moving.
