Source for the infrastructure, or how can I self-host cachix #20

Cachix seems to be a great project. However I'm a bit relunctant to use softwares that are not completely open source. Am I right saying that the cachix's server is not open-source (and therefore that if the cachix company stops, I won't be able to self-host my contents)? If yes is thereany plan to open it later?

The "can I self-host cachix" question in the FAQ is "please contact us", so it does not give much information.

Hey @tobiasBora,

I'm willing to talk about self-hosting and your needs, but it's an enterprise deal.

The main reason why it's not open source is that our community is not big enough to do an open core business model (yet).

I'm happy to say that Cachix is profitable and there's little reason the company will stop.
