How to sponsor/donate? #164

My project uses install-nix-action and I would like to tip the developers. Do you permit GitHub Sponsors or any other way to contribute financially?

I think currently the author suggest to buy cachix binary caches as he lives of these funds to work on opensource software and documentation. However github sponsors might also has advantages since the contribution will be more direct (i.e. no VAT in the countries I know, github does not charge any fees).

Yes, subscribing to Cachix is the best way to support our efforts to improve Nix.

The lowest-cost Cachix plan is 42 USD per month, which is more than I'm willing to contribute.

The plans are aimed at companies, so for personal use the best thing you can do is to express how Cachix has helped you.
