Need to give a better explanation of Critical Points

Potential Ideas:

[ ] Maybe giving an example of why critical points are important
[x] Maybe give a chemistry example or a physics example
[ ] Giving an example of how to use any of the particular types of tests that I mention

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated too!
