I'm unable to reproduce this. Can you try restoring default toolbar set from
the customization dialog, then restarting Firefox?

Okay that was a bad conclusion by me to accuse Super Start. I did a thorough
checking today and came up with the following things.
1. The culprit wasn't Super Start but rather "Google Tasks"
(http://goo.gl/DMRXC) which has a non-native toolbar button. The button sits on
the add-on bar by default. I dragged it into the navigation bar and placed it
beside Search bar. Then with every restart a blank space is added to the left
of the URL bar.
2. I have two other add-ons that provide toolbar buttons - "Secure Login" and
"Cutyfox URL Shortener". I reproduced the problem with these two add-ons too.
But unlike "Google Tasks" they add a blank space only once, not with every
restart.
Steps to reproduce the problem with Cutyfox and Secure Login:
i) Installed Stratiform on a fresh Firefox profile. Applied Soft7 for all of
the criteria.
ii) Installed "Cutyfox URL Shortener", restarted to complete installation,
Cutyfox toolbar button is added on the nav bar. Restarted again. A blank space
is added to the left of Cutyfox button.
iii) Installed "Secure Login", restarted to complete installation, Secure Login
toolbar button is added on the nav bar. Restarted again. A blank space is added
to the left of Secure Login button.
My guess is the problem occurs with toolbar buttons added by other add-ons.

I'm able to reproduce this. I think I've fixed it, but I'll do some more
testing before I release an update, should be a few days.
