Contributing.md is a file that contains information about this repo and it is aimed to offer a guide to those who want to contribute on it. Unfortunately right now is just a draft and needs a lot of love to be completed and be fully useful.

When I try to edit the contributing.md file it creates a fork

You’re editing a file in a project you don’t have write access to. We’ve created a fork of this project for you to commit your proposed changes to. Submitting a change to this file will write it to a new branch in your fork, so you can send a pull request.
I am not able to put labels to an issue, nor close it.

@numeroteca I don't have permissions to do that. I'm afraid only @skotperez has permissions for that, as he's the owner.

Meanwhile creating pull requests is also a great way to work with the repo.

@numeroteca , @skotperez has given me permissions for amdin this repo and I granted you with permissions to push to it, so you could update the file as you want.
