From segundo...@gmail.com on May 19, 2012 19:23:20 Yeah, I absorbed 12 person few rounds ago, but it only counts 4. I was spacing bodies to absorb them in space..
From trubblebass on June 06, 2012 14:22:25 I can confirm this, I've had it happen to me at least once and observed it a few times. It seems to work off a person's name instead of something sensible like their DNA.
From elly1...@rocketmail.com on June 11, 2012 00:04:00 If this is based on real_name, a patch I made a while ago (post dismemberment) which stopped real_name being set to "unknown" may help fix this problem. (It was broken during the revert). r3546

What steps will reproduce the problem?
What is the expected result? What do you see instead? We expect out genome count should increase for each unknown consumed, because even frozen bodies in space still have DNA (hence why we can absorb them).
Instead, we see that new Unknowns do not appear on our transformation menu, and that when we leave to centcom, our genome count is lower than the number we expected.
What revision/version of the game did you encounter the problem on (type 'show-server-revision' ingame to find out)? Latest, r3603
Please provide any additional information below. We think that unknowns either do not count for additional genomes, or they are not "unique" genomes, thus counting all for only one genome.
