So the JNSQ twist on Spawned Kerbals is that they spawn at locations without food or water. In testing that effectively limits them to 1 day and 7 hours before they die of dehydration (in tests by unnamed kerbals). This isn't a really good game mechanic for the VIK missions and any delay in picking them up would lead to their demise. I could spawn them in a pod giving them 5 days supply but craft spawning has it's own issues... Going to park this one for a bit
