Hi, Could you please also report your Ubuntu version and if you are using a specific Ubuntu theme or icon theme? Thanks

I use Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with gnome desktop and the yaru theme.

Just tried on the Virtual Machine having Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.. and it is working fine it seems. I could import PDF files and open them. Could you please try to reinstall and try again.

I reinstalled cs Books, but the problem persisted. However, it did not manifest the first time I opened it. I could import files with no difficulty after the installation. The problem returned once I closed cs Books and tried to open it again though.

I tried again and tried to reimport files and folders multiple times but I cannot seem to be able to reproduce the bug. Unfortunately if I cannot reproduce it, I cannot fix it. Could you try to install a VM with Ubuntu or another laptop and try it there? Thank you for your support.
