Hall of shame for universities? #159

It seems like universities, at least in the UK, are more and more willing to censor students and professors in order to please the Chinese and keep those international fees rolling in:

How do people feel about a list just for universities?

KuronekoLen commented 4 years ago

Campus censorship is a serious free speech issue, I say go for it.

Agreed, things like these shouldn't be unnoticed.

And we have our first entry.

I'll start the list later today

I inform that my best friend from Canada reported me that there was Chinese government's control in the school institutions in Canada, similar to those in the UK. He also reported that:

"Our universities have large numbers of students from China and Saudi Arabia. These students pay very high tuition. And in effect subsidized Canadian students tuition. Because of that, our universities are addicted to funding from dictatorships and authoritarian countries."

The Canadian universities really need a big heavy boycott! Let us try to convince the students to replace their universities with the new non-pro-China universities and to boycott their former universities!

Unfortunately we do not have certain news related to it, but as the Chinese students tuition comes from China, you can check that University of British Columbia may be one of them who receives funds from China.

Hello @caffeine-overload

Finally my best friend from Canada found the news. Here are;

These Coquitlam schools need to be boycotted. Write a letter, and try to convince and encourage Chrystia Freeland, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, to make all Canadian schools and universities cease of receiving funds from China.

You can write to her: chrystia dot freeland at international dot gc dot ca

I have another bad news.

Trudeau, re-elected primer minister, has changed the foreign affair minister, i.e., Freeland is no longer a foreign affairs minister. Now his new foreign affair minister is pro-China, Trudeau also assumes his support for China.

I think it is the hour to boycott Trudeau's and his new ministers, officers and diplomats' visits, and the Canadian products.
