Orient to MDSA Step 2: Learn about MDSA training process

Our team has delivered three MDSA trainings thus far (to CalHR, California Air Resources Board, and Caltrans). At this point, we’ve built up a decent amount of training material and experience. Meet with Britt to get an overview of our training process and materials, and to identify where there is room for improvement and refinement, as well as better organization/information architecture. Resources

• Training - Most of our historical training material is in this Google Drive folder
• GitHub Skills - We’ve used these free GitHub tutorials to onboard people to version control and code review, with mixed success.
• Some of our training materials have been written up in our repository docs, including:
  • A glossary of terms
  • A couple of vignettes on big data, using both BigQuery and Snowflake.

I reviewed the documentation. As with other project documentation, this is helpful. The documentation helped me learn about the training process There is a lot of useful information here. I will refer back to it as needed.
