Adding one expence without pre-select the category #54

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

To add a expence, we have to search for the categoru and click "Add New
Expense" in that category.
If we have several categories (30-40) it is hard to select the category this
way.

It would be better to choose the category in the "popup" with a combo-box. (or
autocomplete)

Thanks

Why do you have so many categories? I think if you have more than 10
categories, you should probably combine some of the categories into 1 so that
you can budget more effectively. Nobody else had this issue (as far as I know),
so please convince me that there is a valid use-case of having so many
categories.

Another thing about having to scroll down to the category is that, it provides
user a chance to see how much money has been spent, or how much is available
when they enter the expense. Allowing user to blindly enter expense really
negates the point of this application.
