The Bouncer - SLUS20069 - Freeze on loading screen [1h into game] + sound issue #1127

1) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on the
Official PCSX2 build or an earlier version of PCSX2 playground?
(If so, please specify the latest pcsx2-playground or Official revision
that last worked.)
no idea tested all the way back to r4801 and they all suffer the lockup.

2) What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. play for about an hour at the end of the rocket tower level it will freeze 
up on the final loading screen (FPS,EE drops to 0, GS stays 100%,) pcsx2 
unresponsive to closing ..etc
2. Besides the main issue the second one is SPU2-X has audio problems, an 
annoying piano beeping noise whenever the character moves, these sounds aren't 
present in the ps2 or peops and zerospu plugins. 

3) What exactly happens when you experience this issue (listing any console
errors or screen output you receive)?

shows the loading screen like always then just freeze

4) What version of PCSX2 are you using? On what operating system? Plugins?
r4878 + latest revision plugins [Gsdx, SPU2-X, Lilypad], windows 7 x64.

5) Please provide any additional information below.
I turned all speedhacks off, and also tried various game fixes to no avail.

I can upload my memcard somewhere if anyone needs to test.

upon further testing using ZeroGS it can get past the loading screen so it is 
most-likely something with gsdx, I tried software, dx9,10 and all still get the 
freezeup.

I'll look at some of the older gsdx revisions to see if its something recent 
that broke it- 
Edit:
Tried various gsdx revisions (lowest i went was r2660 but no luck) then tried 
the forum ones went all the way back to GSdx10 v1.4 and that version 
successfully worked :p ...

I guess the main focus can be on the sound issue now, since even though it 
locks on on the loading screen you can just use another plugin to temporary 
bypass it.

Just popped the bouncer in for the first time on pcsx2. (Recently got it back 
off a friend). Found the sounds pretty funny at first because it seemed like it 
was added in on purpose XD

5350 is old. Can you try a newer svn build please.

Nice coincidence I started playing the game an hour and just got past the 
cutscene you probably already figured it out but you need to increase the 
output buffers latency and the weird sounds go away thanks for the tip on 
changing the gsdx plugin
