1) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on the
Official PCSX2 build or an earlier version of PCSX2 playground?
(If so, please specify the latest pcsx2-playground or Official revision

1.Load game, will not get past the original load screen just freezes

errors or screen output you receive)? Frozen on the ASPW logo start screen

4) What version of PCSX2 are you using? 1.0.0 On what operating system? Windows 
XP Plugins? Stock

5) Please provide any additional information below.

6) Attachments.  *IMPORTANT!*  We have a limited storage quota on
GoogleCode, so please keep attachments to UNDER 200k!  Do not upload
blockdumps!  Do not upload MP3 dumps or screenshots in BMP format.  Try to
use 3rd party image hosts for screenshots when possible.

No, and I know this sounds super noob but for the life of me I can't figure out 
to install any of the svn's despite being able to get most games to work on it, 
nor can I find anywhere that tells me how to install them.

Yep, and that seems to be the problem it won't unzip always tells me there was 
some issue unzipping

Then I would guess something is damaging the files as you download them as im 
not having any problems here. It could be either your antivirus or your browser.

Are you trying to unzip them into your program files directory?
It might be that Windows is preventing that so if that is your problem, move 
the entire PCSX2 folder somewhere else.

Ok, for whatever reason my cpu was not letting me unzip the svn files before, 
now it is so I have tried with the latest version 5731 and it does not work. It 
is producing the same exact result, getting stuck at the start menu.

So heres more of a detail of exactly what happens.  The will get to the start 
menu or opening animation then freeze.  It will load, asks you about loading 
game from memory(although in Japanese, after you select yes it gives the 
squaresoft logo, then says 'loading" then after loading will briefly who about 
one frame of a man standing in a ring but then instantly goes to just a bunch 
of colors on the screen like green yhellow and red and will stay stuck on this 
despite pressing buttons etc.  If when the squaresoft logo loads prior to this 
screen you hit start on the controller it will jump straight to a start menu 
that says press start but if you press start nothing happens it just sits there 
frozen. Any ideas?

You mean a screenshot of the log or of the game freezing?  I mustve been 
tinkering with the settings  by even getting it to show the guy in the ring 
then freeze because I can't even seem to get that far now with the basic 
settings, it goes striaght to a black screen after you select yes to save on 
memory card, then loading screen then straight to black.

and now I can't seem to get aspw3 to work either... wow... just wow.  I've even 
tried restoring all settings to default.

aspw3 works here for me (although remotely it looks weirdly slow), but yes 
aspw1 definitely doesn't work.
