Need a retest with the latest SVN (or beta) please. Use the template or your
issue
will be marked invalid. You haven't mentioned ANY PCSX2 version/revision or
plugins
used or their settings. This is more or less useless atm.

Tested on r2283 and the game regressed further, the horizont is missing (black),
tested with the same plugins and also switching to sVU and is still present so
that
should point to pcsx2 itself.
GSdx is missing the aircraft textures on HW mode, these are displayed fine on
SW, the
rest remains equal:

Also above is the distance problem described about the terrain, is not static it
flickers it seems to change position, it does look like a precision related
issue.

Mash start to skip the OP movie, then just don't press any buttom for the
demonstration to start, all the above bugs should be reproducible.

Update:
r4459 fixed ground texture problems in all ps2 ace combat games (in SW not HW
mode). Thanks gabest.
Movies and briefings still currently freeze and force the user to restart.
Also, issues remain with weapon hit detections and with ground collisions.

ground texture depends from mipmaps (thus software render is required)
Movies are fixed since half a year I think, whilst hit detection has been
patched with a database hack, at least for NTSC-J and NTSC-U versions
I think this could be closed
