Im not sure if this game worked on previous versions the compatibility list 
states that it does work.

What happens is the game has low frame rate (10-20 fps ingame) and althogh it 
is the PAL version (made the ISO from my disk) when i go to menu's they 
appear to be Japanese

I am using PCSX2 Beta 1888

Slow framerate is not a bug. The language being japanese is because you need to 
run
the game with run > execute.
