[request] stereo 3D side by side mode #861

Hello, this is not an issue actually, but a request, I'm connecting my PC to a
3D HDTV for gaming, and the iz3d side by side driver don't works at all with
PCSX2. I was wandering if it is possible for you guys to implement a stereo 3D
mode in side by side, (rendering 2 images, and displaying the result in one,
960x1080 + 960x1080 => 1920x1080 60hz, the TV does the work to convert that in
to 120hz stereo. By doing this, no need for a driver like iz3d or 3D vision, as
most 3D TV support the side by side mode, and can convert the SBS image into
S3D. (I'm using a Samsung 3DTV) I know that this won't be an easy task, as the
emulator would need to support the separation and convergeance, but this would
be so great :D Thanks in advance for those who would implement that :) btw, the
futur 3D TV play from nvidia allows only 720p60hz S3D, the SBS mode is better,
as it allows 1080p / 2 in 60hz : the resolution of the image would be a bit
higher in SbS, so this would be the mode of choice for all hdmi 1.4 3DTV
owners, forever :D
btw2, I have posted this request for other emulators too, I just had this idea
today, because a s3D red/blue mode have been implemented in Dolphin :p

I would like 3D support as well, but I'm wanting the steroscopic Nvidia Vision
flavor like Dolphin (and of course hundreds of pc games)support.

Either way, 3D period I think that would be a great feature added to PCSX2. 3D
is is here to stay and rightfully so! :D

It doesn't work on ps2 due to the way it was designed. Will never happen.

What are you basing that on? 3D can usually get added to almost anything.

Will never happen? Due to the adoption of "rendor target" in GPU codes?
