I got it to work on r750 with Clamp set to "Extra + Preserve Sign" and "Flush
to Zero
and "Denormals are zero" on. Using the latest GSDX (DX10 hardware mode), and
the
"Use x2 Cycle Rate" and "INTC Sync Hack", I get almost perfect speeds (usually
60 fps
occasionally drops to like 47). There are still some strange graphical text
bugs on
the menu (that I think are caused by GSDX), but it is totally playable. I have
been
playing for a couple hours with no crashes yet, but I haven't played through
yet.

You are right! r750+ with "Use x2 Cycle Rate" and "INTC Sync Hack" enabled, it
work
perfectly.
Thanks a lot!

I'd like a clarification on this one if you can, please: does the game not work
with
speedhacks disabled, and if not, which speedhacp specifically helps it to run
correctly?

It crash with "Default Cycle Rate", but not with "Use x1.5 x2 x3 Cycle Rate",
"INTC Sync Hack" enabled/disabled don't matter.
It's strange, isn't it?

I can confirm that HackGU is affected too. Happen on the first battle.
And indeed 1.5 speed hack is working while no speed hack isnt :/ weird

Thats not weird. It sounds similar to the previous echo the dolphin problem,
where
only one particular timing fixes it and breaks everything else.

Also happens in GT4, when loading a race.

This problem "may" always has been one. I even recompiled a old version of
PLayground. and still happening.
Maybe we all played with hack before and it didnt break.
ALso for jake maybe I have an insight on this.
YOu may remembered the time with problem with COP0 and the need to higher the
EE wait
state. The game crash at the same exact moment with the vtlb miss as it used
to be
when there was this problem before.
Hope it can help.

Messing with static const int Default = 9; in r5900opcodestables.cpp can fix.
But this is like using speed hack. If I set default to 18 it work ok. If I set
to 4
it still crash with a tlb miss.

Just to mention that the NTSC version (CRC:89e303fc) Have the same problem.
But now its even worse. Before I could get pass the first fight trying by
setting the
EE speed hack to 1.5 or 2 but now this inst working anymore.
SO the game is completely unplayable now.

It seem the issue is resolved in recent revision.
Sorry I cant tell the rev because I've just tried the game like that and boom no
problem :)
If some else can confirm, I think we can close the issue.
