2 years ago To add a new language, consider forking the project and adding your translation in the Cairo.Localization project. Commit the changes and make a Pull request, the devs will be happy to include the translation

No. I just live in India (Gujarat) half the year and think I could probably help translate Cairo Shell into Gujarati. I also had an idea to translate it into Simple English I don't know a single bit of C# (just C, HTML, XML, XSL, JSON, C++ and D) so I thought I could detail translations for all the text used in Cairo by default. Text below goes left to right and top to bottom. I am not including dropdown menus or the Advanced settings.

Translations into Simple English
Menu bar -> Stuff to Do, Places, Texts, Stuff from the Internet Cairo Menu -> About Cairo, Make sure Cairo is up-to-date, App Grabber, Change Stuff about Cairo, Change Stuff about Windows, Go..., See and change what's going on, Leave Cairo, Turn off and Turn Back On, Turn off completely, Lock, Log off. Settings, General -> See if there is a better version of Cairo for you to use, How Cairo looks, Stuff and Groups of Stuff, Groups of Stuff are shown in the Dynamic Desktop Settings, Menu bar -> The category used on the Stuff to Do menu; keep all others of this section the same. For the rest of Settings, just replace Large with Big and Small with Little and Tiny with Small.

Menu bar/મેન્યુ બાર -> પ્રોગ્રામો, જગયાઓ, ડોક્યુમેન્તો, ડાઉન્લોડો Cairo Menu/કાઇરોનું મેન્યુ -> કાઇરો શું છે?, કાઇરોને અપ્ડેટ કર્વો, એપ ગ્રેબર, કાઇરોનું વસ્તુ બદલો, વિન્ડોસ્નું કોન્ટ્રોલ પેનલ ખોલો, ક્યાક જા..., તારા ટાસ્કો જોઇલો ને બદલો, કાઇરોમાંથિ બહાર જા, બન્દ કરિને પાચુ ચલુ કરો, ખુભ બન્દ કરો, લોક, બહાર જા.
