Navigation bar autocomplete doesn't kick in after opening a new tab #5

Simply Pinned is fantastic, thank you!

Here's what I think is a bug: with the navigation toolbar hidden on a pinned tab, open up a new tab. Then start typing into the URL location in the navigation bar. Firefox typically tries to autocomplete what you're typing; if you've opened a new tab directly from a simply pinned tab, autocomplete doesn't seem to work.

More feedback that this is an issue:

"I really like your Simply Pinned Firefox addon, but it has one annoying bug. If I have a pinned tab that has its toolbar hidden, and press Ctrl-T to open a new tab, then the URL/search completion in Firefox breaks on my new tab - I get no hints based on my previous browsing history or from Google.

Apparently if I press escape after hitting Ctrl-T, this "fixes" the completion, for some reason..."

I can confirm what cakerug sees -- and thanks, cakerug, for the workaround.

Came here to report this issue as well, glad to see that it's a known issue and that esc is a simple workaround until a fix is figured out and released. :+1:
