Not sure what you mean by 'drag'. More details needed.
Steps to reproduce (on Linux): In a browser windows with multiple tabs. One tab is pinned. Starting from a non-pinned tab. Click on the pinned tab. Move your mouse pointer around on the pinned window, but don't click on anything. Move your mouse pointer up to the small-tab for the pinned window but do not click it again. Move your mouse pointer off the window, onto the background and click on the background. Window is dragged even though you did not click on it.
Just installed and same behavior the "drag" effect (thumbnail of current pinned tab) while switching to unpinned tab. It also blocks any keys, so screenshoting this is inpossible for me.. EDIT: Solution enable "Tabs on top" (Pale Moon 27.5.0 - Linux)
When I switch from a normal tab to the pinned tab (by clicking on the pinned tab), the pinned tab is raised correctly, however, I often get a 'drag' of the pinned tab. This is reproducible if I mouse-over the pinned tab after switching to it.
