The web page could use some attention to aesthetics. It has the look of a prototype where the focus was on getting the excellent and useful functionality to work and less on presentation details. We could ask Min for help; he did a great job with the Joomla website recently.

To that purpose, here is some proposed SVG code to reduce the undue visual impact of the temperature data. There is a temporary line border just to highlight the proposed additional border spacing, but that is intended to be removed before implementation.

Is the process and code to capture the USB Thermometer data at the PC and populate the SVG documented..? I could not locate it on the Github site. It would be nice to insert a degree circle symbol in the SVG creation script.

Found the Thermometer data code on the PC. I put it in a repository, but not sure how to move it into Github under calsailing..: https://github.com/Yampanis/temp2web/tree/main.
