There should be a simple example that just uses srpc.  The notification center 
should happen in a separate area.  The srpc example should be provided as as 
reference for users trying to work with srpc now.

srpc calls are in client-server examples.  There will be a separate 
shared-memory example.

IIUC SPRC is deprecated now.
