logout and login error #169

when I try to logout my linux account and then login in again, autokey reports 
that the process is already running.

which version of autokey? what desktop environment?

i am having same issue, version of ubuntu is 11.10 and version of autokey is 
autokey-gtk 0.71.2-1. window never loads, then says already running. even after 
reboot. trying to reinstall now.

Grab the latest version from the PPA, that will resolve this problem

i have installed file autokey-gtk_0.81.4-0~oneiric_all.deb. still does not 
open. can you please assist me with a step by step of successful install of the 
latest version from the PPA? would be much appreciated.

all is well. :D
