The competing product pdftk [1] seems capable of merging PDF documents from 
command 
line. Unless there is some serious limitation in pdftk, which I am not aware 
of, I will 
rather not compete with another open-source tool, hence the "WontFix" status 
flag.

Let me know if and why pdftk does not do the job, and I will reconsider this :)
