Sal said Kevin might be willing to be our advisor, however, he said to ask Kevin. So that's what we will do.

Hey Kevin,

How is it going? I hope your summer is going well!

Rudy and I are interested in establishing an RSO and we are looking for an advisor. We heard that you were the RSO advisor for Mario Party Wars, and so we were wondering if you would be willing to be an advisor for our RSO.

A little about our RSO:

We are called TODA, which stands for Tabletop Organization for data Analysis. The primary purpose of TODA is to play tabletop games and maintain and generate interest in tabletop games. The secondary purpose will be to collect data on gameplay and present that to members with the idea of generating interest in and teaching about data analysis.

Hi Caleb! I would definitely be interested in being a part of this organization in a faculty advising capacity. Did you Rudy develop the bylaws and/or and more descriptive constitution for the organization yet, or are you two still in the developmental process! Let me know how I can assist and what capacity you’d like me to be involved in. You and study are welcomed to meet with me in-person to discuss the org in more detail, or we can chat via email or phone. I’ll be out of town from June 6th to June 24th and won’t be able to respond promptly during this time, but definitely will follow-up when I get back.

Hey Kevin, thanks for your quick reply. I definitely appreciate your enthusiasm and willingness to be part of this organization in a faculty advising capacity. Rudy and I have developed the bylaws and constitution--for the most part--and we are still in the process of finalizing those documents.

You are welcome to be as involved in the organization as you would like. However, we know that you are busy and time is limited, so there is no obligation. When we finalize the bylaws and constitution, would you want to take a look at them?

We would appreciate meeting with you to discuss the organization in more detail. I think sometime after you return and get situated and back in the flow of things might be good. So shall we follow up on say June 25 to set a date?
