have a clear column in each project, with links to relevant documentation.

Are you just saying that we have clearly defined projects with info? I think we can just use a relevant template and then always create a 'Notes' or 'Information' column and make it the first column. Then paste all the info in there. If you agree, then please close this comment, because otherwise this issue will be open indefinitely so long as we are creating new projects.
