idk, esl says that the split packages (erlang-base / erlang-base-hipe) are better, elixir says install esl-erlang, using hipe and then installing elixir forces replacement with non-hipe :angry:
plus must edit the sources.list file to pick from focal as jammy is not available yet. which in turn seems to not pick anything from the esl repos at all. whatevers, 23 is good enough for now.
