Proposed Agenda:
- Discuss submitting PheKnowVec preliminary results to AMIA Joint Summits (Submission Due Date: 08/15/2019)
- Discuss ADHD results (see first tab of the spreadsheet here) and what we need to do to "confirm" or "validate" the cohorts produced by each method. The tabs for the other phenotypes are present in this spreadsheet, but are not finalized. Please ignore them for now.
- Discuss any thesis update talk feedback
UPDATE:
- AMIA podium abstract submission (due: 08/15/2019): write the podium abstract and focus on the differences in the cohort sizes rather than the mappings. One idea is to use the cohort figure here to help explain the experiments and then create a table of results for the second page. Ideas for reducing the information in the table:
- Provide summary stats to demonstrate changes in cohort sizes across the standard code rows .
- Looks like synonyms don't do much, if this true after updating results, then take out all of those rows from the table and provide a high-level sentence in paper that says that there was no effect of the synonyms.
- Consider collapsing children and descendants together into a single row
