Plugin cannot be added to Makecode editor #1

Hi @thinkberg,

unfortunately I was not able to add this plugin to Makecode/PXT editor (neither Chrome nor Firefox). After selecting ESP plugin nothing happens and no error message were shown. Maybe there is an issue with current version of PXT editor. Please, can you help me to use the ESP plugin?

I think it’s mainly a dependency issue with another module. Will have to take a look.

I looked at it and its an issue that the esp module is bundled with the makecode editor. That leads to makecode trying to resolve the dependency on the modem package locally instead of via github. I am talking to my colleagues from Calliope to remove the bundled package.
