RCurl 1.96.0 from Omegahat is broken #8

RCurl 1.96.0 from Omegahat is broken, but callr seems to pull it down and install/update it. If this happens, reinstall from CRAN:

install.packages("RCurl")

Until the RCurl version on Omegahat is fixed/no longer a problem, callr.org/install:

  1. Will not install packages from Omegahat (this is the only simple way to avoid it's problematic RCurl)
  2. Will reinstall RCurl from CRAN when needing to install from GitHub and RCurl 1.96.0 is detected.
