In google calendar, I cannot add a reminder to the event #553

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I already set default calendar reminder to "SMS 15min before the event", 
which takes effect everytime I add an event from calendar webpage. But when I 
add a calendar event using "google calendar add 'test at 4pm today'", the event 
is added, but no reminders set. 
2. I tried using "--reminder 15m" command line option, the reminder is still 
null 
3. Please advise on how to add a reminder properly using googlecl.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to have the reminder added when I create a new calendar event

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? What
version of gdata-python-client (aka python-gdata)?
Win7, googlecl win32 0.9.14.
