I can confirm this..
The fact it doesn't scale fullscreen I could live with, but the constant
'Connected' notifications in the tray are a little distracting. hehe

Well this hides the connected notification itself as well, and on disconnect
"connecting" is still spammed. I have a fix, and will upload that as well...

Hi, Grizza, I'm facing the same annoying 'connected' notification, thanks for
the patch, i haven't the slighest idea how to use the patch, can you please
advise me? thanks..

The patch is useful only if you plan to build from sources (for whatever
reason), and if you don't trust that I uploaded an APK without any malicious
code (but you trust me, the only thing modified in that APK is included in the
patch)

Just download the .apk file to your phone, and install it (you have to enable
3rd party applications for that), you don't need the patch file.

But after that, you will not see the "official" updates for this package
(however, there was no update since... long ago).

This version hides the connected status change popup entirely, but just keep
this issue starred, if I have time I'll fix it and upload an APK which will pop
up every time if there's a change in the connection status.

Thank you for the patch!
The fix will be in the next release.
Attached is a pre release.
It is signed with the same key as the version in the android market.
This should bring you back on track with the market version.
