For that I will create a pull request:
with the generation of CHANGELOG.md
with additional section "Status and released versions" in README.md (after merging PR to be able to refer to them)

After review and merge of the PR
a) the merge commit of the PR will get tagged as v0.1.0 and get the release branch v0.1.0
b) the text for v0.1.0 in CHANGELOG.md will get the release description of v0.1.0 (in Github release)
