@FredericFi I will put the PR on the agenda for our call on Friday.

A general reminder about the role defintion of maintainers (see ProjectStructureAndRoles.md):

Maintainers are the leaders of a Sub Project. Maintainers are first and foremost contributors that have shown they are committed to the long-term success of a Sub Project. Contributors wanting to become Maintainers are expected to be deeply involved in contributing code, pull request review, and triaging issues in the Sub Project for a minimum of three months and perform an ongoing contribution.

Could I be added to the MAINTAINERS.MD as a part of the PR or should I create another PR?

@FredericFi You are welcome to contribute to the sub project - for that it would be good to subscribe to the mailing list (@MarkusKuemmerle will add you then to the sub project members). For getting a maintainer see my comment about the governance above.

I will close this PR and open another one to propose to add @patrice-conil and @RandyLevensalor as maintainers.
