from a product point of view, we want to keep strands unrelated to school cycles because we want strands to be reused (e.g. the same school can use one strand in the first quarter in 2024, but use it in the second quarter in 2025 / or two different schools can use the same strand in the same year but different quarters).
at the same time, we know it's important to visualize the strands according to the school's annual plan (which strands will be used in each cycle).
currently, report cards create a relationship between strands and school cycles — maybe we can start from there, but in the near future I think we can move it towards a school planning module, exploring further how to visualize everything based on the school cycles (from strands to assessments and even students/classes organization)
