we implemented some adjustments in the strand report to allow students and guardians to view some information about strands before report cards are released. the main changes are described below:
student strands page
when logged as student or guardian, now we can visualize all the strands cards linked to the student report cards — including those "under construction":
in the strands cards on this page, we show a color pattern representing the existing moments assessment entries, if any:
strand report
we changed the rules for the goals listing in the strand report assessment tab: now we are showing all of the goals (assessment points) linked to the strand, even those that do not have any assessment entry related to the student — as students and guardians will have access to the strand report at the beginning of the cycle, it makes sense to show all the goals as a planning documentation.
on the other hand, we removed the visual representation of the moments assessments without entries, and we're also preventing the user (student or guardian only) to visualize the final assessment prior to report card release:
moments assessments comments
we also added support for students and guardians to visualize comments related to moments assessments. this may be useful to communicate and register important aspects of the student progression before the end of the cycle. moments assessments comments can be viewed in the goal details overlay or in the moments detail overlay:
