EA Launcher won't Open #4

Hello,

I've installed and tried both the 1.04 and 1.02 versions; neither can get the EA launcher to cooperate, on either Game or Desktop mode. I hit play.... it tries launching for a few seconds.. then kicks me back out to the library screen. I allowed the launcher to install through Experimental, so it's not that it isn't installed. The game also launches fine in Experimental. I'm not sure if they pushed an update that broke it or something, but... yeah.

Sadly, can confirm that 1.04 doesn't work right now. Same experience: Loads with Proton-GE (no controller support, of course). Does not load with 1.04. Just crashes back to Library. I installed the EA app through regular Experimental, so it is installed.

Oddly, 1.02 seems to be working well at this point as a temp fix!

Actually, disregard my previous comments. I am playing using 1.02, my game is in English. I do have to set the control scheme to gamepad before starting the game. It won't recognize the gamepad if you do it after you launch the game.

1.02 doesn't launch for me either, so that's not a solution. Fucking EA...
