I figured the issue and it was a P.E.B.K.A.C. (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair) error on my part. I have the username wrong. Everything working now and we are happy. The Dash is extrodinarily nice and gives me good metrics. Love the work.
Thanks for the update. I'm reopening this one since I don't think it should be this hard to discover an incorrect username.
Not hard. I just fat fingered the username and put an extra dot (.) in the name. Although the question I could not find the answer to is does the user have to have a certain level of permissions in AutoTask for this to work? i.e. would a basic user work or do they need to be a system admin?
I started with 1.0 and liked the dashboard but was missing so much. I tried to do the update and it hosed the system. I said to heck with it and decided to start over with a brand new VM
I downloaded the 1.5.1 release yesterday and ran it through vCenter converter to allow this to run in ESXi. Went through the setup instructions on the website (http://www.autotask.campai.nl/documentation/how-to-install/install-the-virtual-machine/) and set the time zone for 'America/New_York' Set the autotask server to the eastern US (3) and assigned a user credentials with "full access" to AutoTask. After running the command
su - www-data -c "sh /var/www/lib/Cake/Console/cake -app /var/www/app Autotask.import_from_autotask -f"
My cronlog looks like this.
I added several widgets to the dash (including the clock) and while the clock is getting the correct time the rest of the widgets are showing no data.
I tested the internet connectivity with a ping to www.github.com and that shows that I am getting out.
Please help!
