User Problem

• User wants to import MORE than 1000 users from an LDAP Directory on which pagination is activated for 1000 users.
• Paging as described LDAP Control Extension is not a feature of the Camunda identity-ldap-plugin

User Story (Required on creation)

As an Operations Engineer, I want to be able to connect to LDAP Directories with pagination activated.

Functional Requirements (Required before implementation)

The Camunda Identity LDAP Plugin supports the LDAPv3 Control for paged-results as defined in RFC 2696 [1].

Technical Requirements (Required before implementation)

• Pagination is disabled by default.
• Enable pagination by defining a pageSize in your plugin configuration.

  • I tested the feature with Spring Boot and documented the configuration I used on that page; the other configurations might be outdated but haven't been checked in detail
  • I created a few hundred users and groups on the LDAP test server
