User Problem
Users have to go to camunda.io and enter their e-mail address to authenticate.
Authentication already goes through their own IDP, but they cannot initiate login from their SAML IDP, e.g. via Okta homescreen.
This makes it harder for users to access Camunda SaaS leading to dissatisfaction.
Release Notes
It is now possible to use IDP-initiated login on C8 SaaS with Identity Providers via SAML. This allows your employees who utilize C8 SaaS to quickly find it in the IDP app overviews and launch C8 SaaS Console.
Reach out to the Camunda support team if you would like to have it activated for your existing SSO integration. For customers onboarding their own IDP for the first time, we will make sure to enable it per default.

I can ask Camunda to activate IDP-initiate login for C8 SaaS when onboarding my IDP via support.
If I already have my own IDP onboarded in C8 SaaS, I can reach out via support who will enable it manually for me.
Once activated, when using Okta, users can simply use Okta homepage to access C8 SaaS as an app.
This should work for other IDPs configured via SAML as well.
Implementation Notes
A first step could be to try this with Camunda-Production and Pre-Production environments and Camunda Okta for Camundi.
