User Problem

Users cannot scale zeebe partitions and clusters cannot handle increased workloads over time.

Release Notes

You can now fully increase the workload that the Camunda 8 Automation Cluster can handle in a running cluster - even if partition size was a limiting factor. You can now add Zeebe partitions in a running Camunda 8 Automation Cluster.

User Stories

As an Administrator \/ SRE, I can trigger Zeebe to scale the number of partitions up.

Out of scope

1. Scaling down (will be handled in a separate epic)

Implementation Notes

• We need to make sure that after scaling up exporting to other components still works as expected.
