I think one of the best ways we could eventually capture data is via a simple (php?) plugin that can be placed on any of the thousands of disease-sufferers discussions sites, where sufferers could contribute symptom observations and the plugin would push them straight to a common triplestore. This could definitely be showed of as a demo
