Hi Cam,

the pmmd tags could be embedded into NeXML using semantic annotations. It makes some amount of sense to do this if PhyloMatic trees are merged into larger NeXML files that combine them, or are converted into some other format (e.g. RDF). We could go from a straight translation of the pmmd tag / value pairs into the NeXML, though it would be nice to have a namespace for them that resolves to an actual, little, ontology. Maybe something to think about?
