Non-coding fusions

Our project deals with any fusion that results in:

• deregulation of a gene product by rearrangement of that gene near another gene enhancer
• deregulation of a gene product by rearrangement leading to promoter swapping
• chimeric gene products by rearrangement, read-through, or trans-splicing

This is not limited to protein-coding genes. Discussion of clinically relevant non-coding genes should be part of this manuscript. Ioannis Vlachos writes:
