WNJN live stream is only playing pre-roll #79

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. From Station select WNJN
2. Click on Listen Online

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The pre-roll airs and immediate goes to the stream. Instead, according to a
user "Asks to make contribution to station
then kills the stream. never gets to play the actual station.
the radio icon in the top bar also disappears when it gets killed.
I now see a "NO STORIES TO PLAY" at the bottom. I don't know
what that means, it is supposed to give me a live stream to
the station. it doesn't." Justin was also able to reproduce user's problem.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 2.2.1 Droid X, HTC Incredible OS 2.2

Reproduced on N1, OS 2.3.3, NPR 2.0.1.

Attached is an expurgated, relevant log file. Notice that the playback service
is exiting while still preparing.

The source file (<url typeId="10" type="Audio MP3 Stream" title="Listen
Online">http://publicbroadcast.net/njn/ppr/njn.m3u</url> from the API) streams
fine on the iPhone app (actually ignores pre-roll), but in the browser (tried
in chrome) it did only play pre-roll. When it resolves through real player on
the browser, it does resolve correctly.

My guess is that this stream has a discontinuity tag or something in it as it
is stitched together. Many of our streams do.

That shouldn't prevent our media player from parsing two contained URLs. For
this file in particular, I don't even see a file existing there?
