A running list of "new-terminal" issues. Please comment if/as/when they are fixed.

Hostname is long and unfriendly (can be edited in /etc/hostname/)
Install xdg-open (see opencadc/skaha#85 )
Install vos tools

Now that conda looks like it has been installed system-wide, I’m trying to figure out how to make my own envs. The ones that I had installed with conda in my home directory prior to this no longer have names so I don’t know how to activate them. I’ve also tried creating a new env with the default /opt conda (looks successful and makes a directory under ~/.conda) but when I activate that env everything still points to /opt (e.g. python and packages).
