I'm thinking we might maybe drop macos support on CI for now (so slow...)
@tigarmo I think it's reasonable for us to remove the Mac (and even Windows) tests here. Nothing this is doing should have platform-specific requirements, and even if it does our aim for now is to run it on Linux
@ru-fu this is based on the template repo we use in the Starcraft team (canonical/starbase). It includes a whole bunch of stuff like tox, renovate, many linters, git-based versioning, etc. Please take a look around and let me know if you have any issues wit this!
I find this quite hard to review, since the PR contains systematic changes to a framework I'm not familiar with. I think I'll need some content to actually understand what the different parts are for. So no objections from my side for now, but I might start complaining later. ;-)
This repository is originally based on the canonical/starbase template repo. This commit "rebrands" the various configuration files to refer to canonical-sphinx instead, with no functional changes (in that there is no functionality yet, other than a smoke-test "hello" function).
