As part of this issue, we should also assess the need for the "is-crossed" state, as mentioned in https://github.com/vanilla-framework/vanilla-framework/issues/1101

For reference, the current is-ticked list item class: list with tick icons

Quite similar to the default appearance of a checkbox in Safari on iOS: ios webkit checked

And differing only in size from the progress tick: juju setup checklist

A year on from when this issue was creates lists with ticks and checkboxes now look different in the latest version of Vanilla.

In regards to the progress ticks these aren't in Vanilla, but as MAAS and Juju transition to Vanilla we can solve that issue with existing components 👍
