Intermittent horizontal lines using external (DisplayLink) monitors with AMD graphics #3528

Framework16/AMD Ryzen™ 9 7940HS

This is using both main (Miriway/edge), and 2.17 (Miriway/stable)

I do not see these artifacts using the integrated display, nor using GNOME on the same setup

Could be similar cause to #3527

Out of curiosity I tried @mattkae's suggestion elsewhere (of mesa_glthread=false), but that makes no obvious difference here
